Cancer Support

Stage III Oral Cancer Support

Testimonial (64 year old female, Supervisor at Major Ins Co for over 37 years prior to Retirement 2007).

"I
was diagnosed with Stage III oral cancer in Sept of 2010 and began Acupuncture treatments with Chung-Hu Tao after an initial surgical procedure in October of 2010 to assist with relaxation. I was also treated with herbs that were known to assist with cancer treatments. Both treatments were of great assistance to me.

Later in 2010, I was given 7 weeks of targeted radiation to attempt to eradicate any lingering oral cancer. During this time I used Acupuncture on a weekly basis along with herbs and Chinese teas to sustain my energy level during the final weeks of my treatments when my throat was so sore I was unable to swallow. The treatments allowed me to complete my radiation treatment without a feeding tube being inserted for my nourishment.

I continue to use acupuncture and herbs to help relieve the lingering side effects of the radiation treatments.

While I have always used and relied on traditional Western medicine, I believe that the alternative treatments I received were crucial in helping me cope with the effects of my cancer treatments.
